We All Gotta Eat!, NYC based restaurant group, with locations that include Michelin Star locations, Sushi Noz, Noz Market and Noz 17 and soon to open Chez Fifi on the UES, seeks a Corporate Beverage Director. Our restaurants feature curated wine, sake and spirts lists and classic and contemporary cocktail programs.


We are seeking a full-time Corporate Beverage Director with a history of success building and managing profitable, award winning beverage program(s) that complement and enhance the culinary menus to offer a seamless, exceptional food and wine experiences for our discerning guests.


The position will report directly to our owner and will oversee the sommeliers and work cross functionally with our General Mangers, Bar Director and bar staff.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of the restaurants beverage program, maintaining, and enhancing service, and educating the staff.
  • Maximize financial performance and profit through knowledge, presentation, and training the team to confidently present and sell our comprehensive, award winning selection of fine and accessible wines.
  • Maintaining inventory, organizing and managing the ordering and receiving and updates to the wine list.
  • Procure wines and glassware and bar and beverage supplies that meet cost and design specifications.
  • Conduct on-going staff training on wine and spirits offerings to develop sales and maintain high quality offerings.
  • Personalize service by developing guests' loyalty, interact and touch every single table
  • Maintain guests' preferences related to wine by keeping notes in the database.
  • Monitor the quality and inventory of beverage glassware and decanters.
  • Train and guide staff on proper bottle presentation, decanting and pouring, and wine descriptions are accurate and appealing.
  • Monitor and spot check wine deliveries and BIN # assignment, proper storage and organization of the wine cellar Dining Room Service.
  • Responsible for monthly liquor and wine inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws related to alcohol sales, service and consumption, including training and enforcing of minimum drinking age requirement, TIPs training.
  • Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails, with on-going education and training.

  • Discipline to follow set standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 Lbs.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be personable, communicative and a team player.
  • Must have a passion for French wine and a desire to learn and advance wine and spirits expertise on own initiative and with Company support
  • Must have 5 + years' of experience in a high-profile restaurant with a critically acclaimed menu and wine program.
  • Must be able to multi-task and offer elevated service and lead by example.
  • Must work with a spirit of collaboration.
  • Fluency in French and multi-lingual language is a plus.
