The Spirit of the Position


The Operations Manager for the Nashville On-Street Operations supports the General Manager with a complete oversight for financials and operations to ensure 24/7 professional enforcement management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Operations Manager will support the program and initiatives originating from our business plan & agreement with NDOT.


Principal Job Duties


  • Establish and maintain rapport with Management Account client.
  • Ensuring that increased revenue, managed expenses, and customer satisfaction is maximized by maintaining the highest level of service thresholds and initiatives that are aligned with the expectations of our client.
  • Lead, direct, and develop team of employees to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking s culture as a guideline.
  • Screen, interview, hire, & train staff using the LAZ Way approach
  • Identifying high potential employees to support the organization s continued growth.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our client.
  • Ensure pre-shifts huddles are completed daily
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) with the new technology for Nashville On-Street.
  • Ensure the location is following the LAZ Audit procedures and meeting the Regional Audit goals; Future annual goals will be communicated accordingly.
  • Daily/weekly participation in various operational events that may or may not include after-hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Utilize Power Business Intelligence to properly track and analyze program goals and initiatives.
  • Assist bookkeeper with revenue tracking and On-Street program compliance
  • Additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements


  • 3+ years in Management role.
  • Must have an understanding of P&L s.
  • Ability to manage the client relationship.

Education

Experience - The below skillsets and experiences are strongly preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of Flowbird PARCS
  • Power BI experience
  • Familiarity with Genetec LPR
  • Familiarity with Gtechna
  • Parking Management experience
  • Enforcement Management experience
  • On-Street Meters experience
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.


Physical Demands


  • Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
