Our client seeks an **Experienced Warehouse Supervisor** for their Baltimore operations facility.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the work of a warehouse team of receivers and pickers to ensure the safe and efficient flow of products.
**Duties:**
* Supervise, coach, develop, evaluate, and mentor the warehouse workers.
* Monitor performance, provide guidance and discipline as needed.
* Planning the work schedules to ensure the efficient use of labor and to reduce costs.
* Protect against inventory loss, oversee physical counts, and reconcile variances.
* Provide oversight of housekeeping and product code rotation.
* Train employees on proper techniques and safety protocols.
* Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, troubleshoot problems, provide instruction on proper use and preventive maintenance of equipment.
* Organize storage area to maximize efficient use of floor space, adhere to design principles, and recommend improvements as needed.
* Evaluate and recommend shipping and receiving procedures.
* Ensure the physical security of the facility.
* Other duties as needed.
**Qualifications:** 3-5 years of proven supervisory experience in a warehouse environment. HS Diploma or GED. Strong planning, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. PC proficient and ability to use MS Office. Ability to operate a Forklift and warehouse equipment safely. Proficient in freight handling and loading techniques. Strong math ability. Trained in HACCP. Flexibility to work as needed until work is completed.
