JOB SUMMARY

Employee Relations & Training Specialist responsible for managing labor relations, promoting positive workplace dynamics, reducing turnover, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Additionally, oversees training programs to enhance organizational performance and foster employee development.

  • SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Education: A relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor s in Education, Human Resources, Business, Design, or Psychology)

    Experience: Plus 5 years experience as Employee Relations & Training Specialist

    Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required, Access preferred.

    Certifications & Licenses: Consider certifications such as CPLP, APTD, IV, T&D, TSA-STA, EHR, ASE, BTLS, or PB


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb stairs; balance; stoop, or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus (correctable).Hearing ability includes the ability to hear clearly while working in person or on telephone (correctable).


    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee primarily works in an office environment. The noise level in the workplace usually moderates with alternating periods of moderate to high stress.


    Expected Hours of Work

    The employee will work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. May work long hours as an on a needed basis.

    Desktop computer, copier, shredder, scanner, fax machine, and a label maker.
