Payrate: $21 per hour

Our Portsmouth, NH has an open position for a Lab Support Technician to join our R&D team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a challenging, dynamic, and cross-disciplinary team of scientists who focus on improving the manufacturing of biologics medicines. As a lab technician, you will be working hands-on in a biologics laboratory, supporting the execution of bioreactor experiments, and helping maintain a high operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Support R&D projects through execution of routine lab activities based on established procedures
• Assist with the preparation and operation of bioreactor experiments
• Perform daily, aseptic sampling of bioreactors, including routine offline analysis (cell concentration, metabolites, product quality, etc)
• Perform general lab support activities, including routine instrument standardizations, solution and reagent preparation, glassware cleaning and autoclaving
• Inventory and stock lab supplies
• Assist with lab organization activities

Key requirements:

• Associate of Science degree in Biological Sciences, or similar science background
• Experience with aseptic technique highly desired
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Effective communication skills
