August House Co. is seeking an Architect / Project Manager with a drive for design, passion for residential, and a desire to manage their own projects. We are a small team of architects and designers looking for a key addition to our team. We provide architectural, interior and landscape design services for custom home clients, as well as developers and builders. Here s what success looks like in this role:
- Collaborate with the design team, clients and manage projects from start to finish
- Develop and produce drawings to meet deadlines for client meetings/submittals
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting your deadlines

- Hard-worker, efficient with your time and a commitment to our team and goals. We rise and fall as a team, so we re serious about working together as one unit.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, ability to take criticism well and willingness to learn/apply feedback

- Anticipate the needs of our team and projects, getting out ahead of potential roadblocks to ensure we work efficiently and meet deadlines.
What you ll need to apply:
- 5-10 years of professional experience at an architecture/design firm
- Professional degree in architecture (BArch, MAcrh, or equal)
- Architect licensure is preferred but not required
- Min 5 years of professional experience working in Revit. Also, must be proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Lumion and Adobe Creative Suites
- Great communication skills, high emotional intelligence, willingness to work with a team and serve our clients well.
- Experience in presenting ideas professionally
- Strong attention to visual details
- Must be located near the Nashville, TN area. We have required office days every week (teamwork makes the dream work).
