We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. In this crucial role, you will be integrating the responsibilities of a Business Process Analyst, Integrator, and Application Support Specialist. Your primary focus will be to change, maintain, and implement business systems and processes to drive efficiency and innovation within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and re-engineer business processes and systems to introduce new practices, streamline operations, and enhance service delivery.
Oversee the maintenance of existing platforms and solutions, including SQL Server, QlikSense (BI), and integrations between various business and accounting systems.
Lead new initiatives and actively engage in the hands-on implementation of projects related to Data Management, CRM, Business Intelligence, and Analytics.
Collaborate with business partners and subject matter experts to gather, organize, and analyze business system requirements.
Identify and analyze opportunities for operational improvements through enhanced systems, services, and processes.
Execute the implementation of projects as a technical leader, manager, and/or member.
Develop and promote overarching standards and procedures to adapt to the evolving business environment.
Participate actively in system design, implementation, and support, including hands-on technical tasks, customer engagement, and project resource management.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
Proficiency in Qlik Sense software for data visualization, BI and reporting applications
Demonstrable skills in SQL Database Administration
Expertise in SQL for managing data held in a relational database management system
Familiarity with Lawson / FSM software for human resources, finance management, and supply chain management
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex concepts clearly
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
