Roth Staffing is looking for a Communication Specialist II (Internal & Corporate communications)for the client (life insurance company). This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in life insurance company with a strong corporate culture and competitive pay.

Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking communications professional to assist in supporting our Finance organization's Transformation Management Office (TMO) in their communication needs. You will be working closely with the TMO leadership and the core project team to craft compelling messaging around their deliverables, change and driving the business forward. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for organizing coffee chats, coordinate content for monthly newsletters, develop presentations for department meetings, draft leader digests as well as creating content for an intranet page, SharePoint site, digital signage and more.
In turn, you will get to work in a dynamic team and have a direct impact in helping the Finance organization transform for the future. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of crafting engaging messages and implementing communication strategies to support our organizational transformation efforts.

Responsibilities:
* Craft well-written, researched, clear and impactful communications on ongoing initiatives within the Finance, Risk and Actuarial organization.
* Work with workstream leads and business functions throughout the Finance organization to identify communication needs, develop communication plans and execute on those plans.
* Develop email newsletters, coordinating photo and video projects, putting on special events, and executing internal communication strategies.
* Coordinate all hands meetings, create agendas, prepare presentations, arrange presenters and meeting facilitation.
* Develop strong working relationships to attain a good understanding of the business, glean key priorities and identify communication gaps that need to be addressed.

Required Job Qualifications:
* 5-8 years of internal communications experience within Corporate environment. Must have strong team collaboration experience. Not looking for someone that works independently on a assigned task.
* Bachelor's degree in a communications field (journalism, communications, English) or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly, concisely, and creatively.
* Proficient in AP
* Must be able to write for multiple audiences and design effective, engaging communications. Not looking for marketing, public affairs, public relations
* Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight and often multiple deadlines.
* Experience in working with many stakeholders to get content reviewed and approved in a timely, efficient, and effective manner, effectively balancing differing needs and navigating opposing opinions.
* Experience with content management platforms.
* Advanced proficiency in email marketing or marketing automation platforms (IE: Salesforce)
* Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint.

Must show portfolio of articles, marketing and design materials, and communications plans.
