ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT COORDINATOR AVIATION
ABOUT STUDIO ARQ:
Started in 2008, Studio ARQ, LLC is a full-service architectural firm specializing in institutional, commercial, and municipal planning & design. Studio ARQ is seeking a talented individual with expertise in visualization, proficiency with BIM-CAD and meticulous attention to detail for aviation terminal planning assignments.
SUMMARY:
Actively participates in the production of aviation related space planning, visual presentations, drawing production, and site visits under the direction of the Project Manager. Identifies creative and technically sound solutions and maintains effective working relationships at all levels.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Prepare drawings for airport terminal space planning develop design sketches, renderings, models, graphics, details, sections, elevations and schedules
- Efficiently work across a variety of drawing formats to coordinate details, dimensions, drawings presentations, and specifications
- Work closely with project team members to obtain project information and see that all work products are organized, accurate, complete and legible
- Attend meetings and prepare accurate notes based on verbal and written input and follow up as needed with distribution and related deliverables
SECONDARY FUNCTION:
- Diligent adherence to project processes, deadlines, milestones, and profitability goals as established by Studio ARQ
- Communicate methods to improve project process to the team leader and report any issues or discrepancies that may affect project quality, schedule, or profitability
- Self-assess and inform the team of availability/capacity, demonstrate organizational skills and self-motivation
- Have a passion for developing presentations and a desire to participate in client meetings
SOFTWARE AND SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: A professional degree in Architecture, Planning, Aviation Management, or Engineering
- Software: Advance proficiency in Autodesk Revit and CAD; proficiency with visualization, 3D modeling, animation tools, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
- Professional: 0 5 years of project experience in an architectural practice, airport planning or related aviation industry field
- Proactive and effective communicator: excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients.
- Highly organized: plan and prioritize work assignments and demonstrate ability to manage concurrent assignments with different teams.
Time Allotment
- 90% project related
- 10% administrative
Physical Demands
This position will require local travel to all project and client locations with remote, main office and onsite work days applicable
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager. The FSLA Status of this position is Exempt.
