We have an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate for our Katy, TX facility. We need someone who is flexible for our 2nd shift from 2:30p - 11:00p. This is a great environment with the opportunity to work in a team environment.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Unpack cartons, part number identification, sorting, and validation of counts unique to each part.
  • Utilize computer system for record receipt of product and generate part /location labels to ID for shelving.
  • Restock and re-warehouse product as needed.
  • Provide additional labor (bagging, labeling, etc.) and complete process as required.
  • Responsible for picking orders within the warehouse and packaging in an appropriate manner in compliance with current warehouse specification.
  • Assemble cartons, packs product and seals cartons to prevent damage or bursting during shipment to customer.
  • Process carton(s) across scales for weight calibration and confirm entry into 3rd party shipping system. Generate and apply shipping labels to each carton.
  • Experience arranging LTL/TL shipments.
  • Assist in daily loading of outbound shipments to designated freight hauler.
  • Assist in packing and preparation of shipments going to 3rd party customers and intercompany transfer shipments as required.
  • Interact professionally on a regular basis with staff, vendors and the general public.
Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two + years of previous warehouse experience.
  • Positive attitude a must!
  • Ability to use equipment including computer, various computer programs, various printers, copiers, calculator, and scanner/bar code readers.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to use scales, ruler/tape measure.
  • Ability to organize work and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
  • Maintains a high level of energy and a consistent positive attitude.
  • Ability to work alongside other employees within all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and diagrams.
Optional:
  • Electric pallet jack, electric lift pallet jack, and stand up tow motor.
