**The Exciting Opportunity**
Located in the hotel is Restaurant Six which is the first of it's kind in the area. Designed to feel cosy, sophisticated and welcoming with food and drink on tap, there are spaces where guests can hang out alongside the locals, and immerse themselves in the neighbourhood and everything the bar and restaurant has to offer.
The Head Chef contributes to the hotel's goals and values by supporting the Deputy General Manager with managing the overall running of the Kitchen and Kitchen team at the hotel.
Were looking for an individual who can:
* Ensure that all menu items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards
* Develop menu design and concepts for Restaurant Six, meetings & events and room service.
* Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of food products, inventory and equipment. Replenish supplies in a timely manner and minimise waste
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment and storerooms are in proper operational condition and are cleaned on a regular basis
* Lead a team effectively and has a passion to train and develop them along the way
* Comply with required standards whilst ensuring the GP% is maintained and improved in line with company set budgets.
* Adhere to governmental regulations as well as brand standards and hotel or company policies and procedures
The Hilton Garden Inn, Stoke-on-Trent will feature 140 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms, a gymnasium and bar & Restaurant Six.
