Job Details
The Multi-Craft Technician performs duties under the general direction of the Team Leader/Maintenance Manager and works to perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation, modification, inspections, and address any equipment malfunction or breakdowns.
This is a 12 hour a day work schedule (6:45 pm - 6:45 am) with 3-days on and 3-days off. Please attach a resume to your application.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, belts, gears, or electrical wiring, as needed.
- Maintain documentation for existing and new equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacement of parts.
- Provide assistance to mechanical installations as directed.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, electrical/mechanical problems on machinery.
- Interface with equipment operators and maintenance staff to ascertain problems with equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine problems and make appropriate repairs.
- Install and service a variety of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical, communications and process control systems.
- Support continuous improvement engineer(s) and production departments by suggesting ways to improve the reliability and/or productivity of the equipment.
- Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
