Androscoggin Bank, a values-driven, mutual savings bank based in Lewiston Maine has an opening for a Retail Branch Manager to lead and grow our Minot Avenue branch in Auburn! Here is your opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is focused on developing consumer, private bank and small business client relationships.

In this position you will plan the tactical direction of your branch, ensuring that the unique needs of your branch's clients are met while at the same time following the strategic plan of the Bank. Youll guide the integration of sales and referral efforts in the branch, and provide sales development coaching and support to your 4 team members. You'll have strong collaborative relationships with our commercial and mortgage lenders - as well as other lines of business.

We are seeking an experienced banker who is a confident relationship builder and coach, with prior leadership/managerial experience and demonstrated strong operational success.

The Retail Manager has oversight of security, audit and safety policies, monitors and upholds branch operational standards including proving the vault, drawer management and account opening & maintenance. You'll also perform service tasks including teller functions when needed, opening new accounts/services, and handling complex transactions professionally and accurately. Youll maintain a NMLS number and assist clients applying for HELOC and consumer loans, and small business lending.

In addition to these traditional Bank tasks, you will work with your Market Manager to actively grow and service your branch's client base. We are looking for someone with existing COI relationships in this market (or prior success in developing such) and a drive to increase our community connections and visibility in the market. **Requirements**

*Bachelors degree plus at least 4 years directly related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

*Extensive background and knowledge of regulatory compliance and banking procedures

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Prior success in managing a team
