Sales Assistant
Role Overview:
Your primary focus is to assist the Wholesale Team to increase wholesale revenue. You will report directly to the Senior Account Executive.
Sales Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly selling reports from major & specialty accounts to monitor performance and organize product feedback to strategically drive long-term growth.
- Conduct weekly visits to tri-state area accounts to maintain floor appearance, manage inventory levels & collect feedback from sales team.
- Assist in quarterly product knowledge seminars to develop lasting relationships with sales staff and drive sales.
- Understand competitive landscape and create prospect account lists each season to continue growth trajectory.
- Assist in market preparation quarterly including photographing & organizing market looks, uploading product shots & creating linesheets in JOOR, tagging & steaming samples, ordering market supplies.
- Assist in market appointments including preparing and merchandising showroom, greeting buyers, dressing models, entering notes in JOOR and maintaining showroom appearance in NY Market.
- Collaborate with cross functional departments regarding market needs and product performance including finalizing orders by production deadlines, entering orders into JOOR/RLM, contributing to daily & EOS market recaps etc.,
- Complete daily sales operations including RA s, swaps, re-orders.
- Check retail partner s websites weekly for accurate style info, pricing & markdowns.
- Manage sample closet track sample loans, coordinate sample requests with other departments, organize physical sample closet.
- Assist in any wholesale asset needs including PK presentations & seasonal brand books.
- Provide images & copy information requested by retail partner s websites.
