We are currently seeking to recruit an Investment Banking Associate to drive transaction execution in Insurance and Capital Markets. The Associate role provides an unparallel opportunity to work as part of a nimble deal team on executing M&A and strategic advisory mandates and building coverage initiatives in our verticals.

ROLE SPECIFICS
The Investment Banking Associate will drive transaction execution and support business development activities. The candidate will have relevant experience executing transactions in the middle market and is expected to contribute to the junior banker s development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help drive transaction processes for sell-side and buy-side transactions.
- Transaction responsibilities include preparing marketing materials, overseeing due diligence and running buyer meetings.
- Prepare new business development presentations for advisory mandates.
- Contribute to our buy-side mandates for our strategic and private equity accounts.
- Interface with clients and investors / buyers in a highly professional manner.
- Assist driving forward business development activities including contact identification, relationship establishment and maintenance, and creating pitch materials.
- Financial modeling including performing valuation, merger, and LBO analyses.
- Recruit, train and manage junior investment banking staff.
- Conduct industry research and write articles to demonstrate sector and practice expertise.
- Oversee project management of internal and client-facing deliverables.
- Generate actionable items for deal execution or business development matters in a timely manner when requested by our leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 6 years of investment banking or financial advisory experience and possess the following:
- Proven transaction experience with middle market firms.
- Outstanding academic qualifications, MBA or other relevant graduate degree is highly desirable but not required.
- Technical proficiency across all financial analysis and modeling (e.g., valuation analyses, transaction models, KPI and P&L buildup, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to details with demonstrated ability to complete tasks accurately within strict deadlines.
- Highly motivated, organized with exemplary integrity and ability to learn and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with confidence to professionally interact with senior leadership.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to learn and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Capable of balancing and managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a highly organized manner.
- Highly effective writing skills to support the creation and delivery of presentations to prospective client management teams, as well as potential investors and buyers.
- Exposure to cloud and data resources used at financial service firms (e.g., SalesForce, PitchBook, etc.).
