Essential Functions:

* Installs mechanical components, such as, but not limited to, to air cylinders, valves, flow control valves, air filter regulators and lubricators, according to pneumatic schematics, to meet assembly drawing specifications using screws, dowel pins, retainer rings, etc.

* Reads blueprints for proper order of assembly and to ensure accurate torque setting for screws.

* Installs electromechanical components such as but not limited to electric linear actuators (Festo) and pneumatic actuators.

* Routes electric cables and air lines from throughout machine to controller.

* Aligns mechanical components using dial indicator.

* Maintains a safe and organized work space and professional interpersonal relationship with team members.

* Performs simple machine movements to test for correct installation of components.

* Troubleshoots any mechanical problems during assembly; notifies Manager/Supervisor of complex problems.

* Works closely with engineering and assemblers.

* Uses crimp tools, hands tools, power tools, multi meters, Familiar with a variety of shop supplies; splices, ferrules, types of wire, harness connectors

* Troubleshoots, repairs and tests analog and digital circuitry including motherboards, power supplies and electro-mechanical devices down to the component level.

* Assists Engineers in evaluating incoming repairs not seen before and identify necessary test equipment and parts to successfully restore them to factory specifications.

* Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require as directed by management.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED

* Minimum five (5) years of experience with precision mechanical assembly. Electrical panel building, motor controls, Pneumatic s, sensors, I/O wiring, AC/DC circuitry experience.

* Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.

* Addition; Subtraction and use of ten key calculator.

* Creative problem solver, able to research, troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical issues with zero documentation.

* Proficient knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems.

* Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.

* Solid working knowledge of assembling mechanical components using torque wrenches.

* Good understanding of fits (press fits, slip fits, etc.)

* Knowledge of hydraulics preferred.
