JOB SUMMARY:
Quality Inspector performs quality control inspection, checks, and test during the manufacturing of the product. Working under general supervision and reporting to the Operation Manager. Support all activities to maintain the Quality Management System ISO9001:2015
JOB DUTIES:
- Performs first piece, in-process and final inspection of PCB board, sheet metals, military cables and coax cables. Referencing detailed blueprints or specifications from the manufacturer or internal drawings, using inspection tools, gauges, and electronic test equipment.
- 100% inspection of all mechanical parts
- Inspection of ribbon, coax and military cables
- Approves or rejects items inspected. Writes DMR reports, identifying rejects and record defected data
- Prepare, document, and implement procedures to support a quality management system.
- Performing internal quality audits, documenting findings and generating corrective actions if necessary
- Assure that the requirements of the Quality Manual and applicable procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Responsible to support all quality control department activities.
- Read blueprints, BOM and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions
PCB board inspection of component placement, orientation and solder quality - Generate monthly DMR report for discrepancy materials and meet with Quality team for findings
- Support all activities to maintain the Quality Management System ISO9001:2015
EXPERIENCE:
- Technical, trade or vocational high school graduate or equivalent.
- This position requires three years mechanical inspection experience.
- We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.
- The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.
- Must be able to read and interpret complicated drawings and military specifications and have a working knowledge of shop math.
