Senior Graphic & Print Designer (Apparel) onsite near DTLA 80-95K)


As a Senior Graphic Designer, you'll lead the CAD/Graphics team, spearheading the implementation of pattern and graphics direction across all design phases. From initial concept ideation to final product execution, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating brand aesthetics and ensuring brand DNA consistency.




Responsibilities:



1. Collaborate closely with Design/Concept teams to define pattern/color/trend direction, translating these into artwork that aligns with the brand's identity.


2. Oversee and manage all presentation aspects, from conceptual boards to articulating seasonal direction, delivering frequent presentations to design, merchandising, and production teams.


3. Uphold and evolve Brand DNA through innovative print and graphic solutions, while remaining true to brand identity.


4. Spearhead research initiatives to identify and implement new trends in graphic design and production techniques.


5. Provide art direction and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring graphic scale, concept, and placement meet brand standards.


6. Lead the creation of graphic design concepts and board presentations for each season, meticulously organizing graphics by season and category.


7. Collaborate with Design and Production teams to review and approve samples, ensuring brand integrity across all pattern and graphic executions.


8. Develop production-ready artwork in both print and electronic formats, maintaining accuracy and quality standards for internal and external partners.


9. Partner with Design to visualize, present, and communicate pattern concepts through CAD artwork, driving innovation and newness in brand aesthetics.


10. Curate seasonal assortment of graphics for various channels, including DTC/web platforms, wholesale assortments and collaborations/licensing partners, ensuring alignment with brand and seasonal vision.


11. Efficiently manage workload, prioritizing and overseeing multiple seasons simultaneously to meet business demands.


12. Facilitate in-person collaboration and meetings as needed, supporting product development, milestone discussions, fittings, and approvals.


13. Assist with artwork placement in tech-packs for seasonal hand-offs.
