Job Description

As a Business Operations Manager, you will deliver operational support across the business group working with the team and partners throughout the company. You will be responsible for coordinating multi-discipline group activities, driving business process improvements, data analysis and communication. Your responsibilities will include product ownership of the Operations team s applications. You will leverage the developer and analytical resources of the team to enable Solidigm s product development programs and operational processes.

The Operations team in the Data Center engineering group delivers applications, services and reporting supporting product development, process efficiency, and internal operations including finances and staffing. As a Business Operations Manager, you will deliver operational support across the business group working with the team and partners throughout the company. You will be responsible for coordinating multi-discipline group activities, driving business process improvements, data analysis and communication. Your responsibilities will include product ownership of the Operations team s applications. You will leverage the developer and analytical resources of the team to enable Solidigm s product development programs and operational processes.


How you will make an impact:

  • Lead highly matrixed teams in multiple engineering operations including: capital purchasing, inventory management, inventory compliance of physical intellectual property, hardware & software licensing, office & lab space forecasting and utilization, and hiring.
  • Lead the evolution of our applications as the product owner working with the scrum team and stakeholders to plan releases, maintain a product roadmap, and prioritize the backlog.
  • Partner, collaborate, and communicate regularly with key team members, stakeholders, domain experts, and cross-functional teams within the enterprise.
  • Provide stakeholders with complete visibility into the progress, execution status, issues, and decisions for all programs.
  • Facilitate meetings and trainings to achieve deliverables for your scope of work.
  • Decompose complex programs into bite-sized execution-oriented initiatives and drive them to completion.
  • Work with peers and partners to deliver impactful solutions adding value to Solidigm and our customers.
  • Leverage your experience and fresh perspective to introduce new solutions to our operational challenges.


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • 4 years of Business Operations Management, Project Management, Product Management, or similar roles that includes working with project teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile and it s principles.
  • Experience using Jira or a similar product.
  • Experience working in a product development industry with experience supporting engineering lab operations, product management, or technical program management.
  • Risk and Controls experience ideally with a focus on inventory controls.
  • Understanding of capital purchasing guidelines and the difference from expense purchases.
  • Ability to develop, present, and implement proposals to drive change in an organization.


Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $77,840 to $122,700. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
