Student Computer Lab Aide


Job Details

The Computer Lab Aides for Computer Science help with all student and faculty computer needs in the classrooms. Duties include but are not limited to installing hardware and software, troubleshooting problems, and assisting students with questions.

This job accepts workstudy and non-workstudy applicants.

This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications

Must be a current WSU student

Passed CS 1400

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Linux/Unix experience. Scripting is a plus.

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
