** Jr. Procurement Buyer - Packaging**

Procurement position that will be responsible for the sourcing strategy of select packaging components. Specific duties including but not limited to, overall supplier selection, cost modeling, driving cost savings initiatives, day to day ownership of supplier SAP data, relationship management / stakeholder engagement, and any tasks required to achieve the global procurement short and long term strategic objectives.
**Specific Accountabilities**
* Responsible for supporting and implementing Categories Strategies for assigned categories of spend
* Strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and supplier onboarding
* Conduct supplier negotiations and assist with contracts/Master Service Agreement execution
* Develop industry expertise and support detail market analysis
* Conduct RFQ/RFPs utilizing the 7-step sourcing process
* Budget planning, Financial Tracking / Purchase Price Variance analysis, and spend/savings Analytics
* Execute against annual Cost Savings targets
* Support NPD activities, Continuous Improvement, Innovation, and Sustainability workstreams
* Manage system data for area of responsibility i.e SAP supplier info records and other required supplier information
**Required Skills and Experience**
* Knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes
* Highly self-motivated with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
* Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and work well in team focused environments
* Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SAP and Ariba with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong business acumen
**Preferred Skills and Experience**
* Bachelors degree in Business, Procurement / Supply Chain, or related fields
* Experience in consumer products industry, Packaging, and/or Sourcing
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant IT systems including ERP and Spend Analytics
* CPIM or CSCMP certifications
* Six Sigma or Lean/Kaizen
* ERP/ SAP / Ariba User
* 7 Step Sourcing Model

* Peers in Direct Procurement
* Close collaboration with internal cross functional groups and external suppliers
