Tooling Maintenance Technician position available with Opportunities for Advancement

Night Shift
Position overview:
Maintain, repair, and changeover of all the forming molds and trim dies; perform job effectively and efficiently; perform all aspects of job safely; exhibit team work; be accountable; troubleshoot and determine the best course of action to correct problems; learn job requirements based on company expectations; follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Must be able to follow safety, and cleanliness practices
Self motivated, and works well in a team environment
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, and problem solving capability
Must have skills in basic machining (drilling, tapping, measuring tools, etc.)
Must have the ability to follow written instructions, and write out a detailed log of daily work performed in the English Language.
Has the ability to perform tasks in the standard allowed time frame.
Basic knowledge of fasteners (types, sizes, etc.)
Ability to read blue prints.
Responsibilities:
Clean, disassemble, and reassemble forming molds and trim dies
Change over molds and trim dies to different products
Repair, and maintain molds and dies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tool maintenance department
Fabricate parts or fixtures to maintain tools, and auxiliary production equipment.
Diagnose tooling problems at the line, and determine the best course of action to correct the problem.
