Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides training to operators in proper disassembly, packing and installation technique of systems.
- Assembles, disassembles and adjusts precision electro/mechanical units and sub-assemblies to prescribed tolerances for proper operation, a wide variety of sub-assemblies and completed systems.
- Performs functional test operations on all systems and sub-assemblies using precision measuring instruments (gauges, meters, leak testers, dial indicators) as required. Analyzes results and reworks or adjusts as required to meet specifications.
- Uses network applications for solving problems and for day-to-day business including finding and printing drawings from the data vault, using shared folders with other departments, etc.
- Completes data entry activities in Microsoft EXCEL and ACCESS as required. Ability to design new spreadsheet applications in Microsoft EXCEL and demonstrates competence in Microsoft Word and e- mail.
- Works from prints, procedures, planning schedules, and verbal and written instructions.
- Performs quality investigations in his or her area and pursues implementation of solutions.
- Completes standard cell documentation forms including requisitions, QDMS's, electronic time sheets, assembly logs, checklists, etc.
- Provides feedback to operations group for redesigns or modifications to improve the product.
