Coppell, TX, United States Full Time Permanent req78957 Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a Warehouse Associate who is dependable, a team player, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment!** Your Role**

The warehouse associate is responsible for inbound and outbound activities as well as inventory management within the warehouse. This comprises moving materials within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, hand pallet jacks for other smaller material handling equipment The warehouse associate is also responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and product preparation, verification, shipping/manifesting, cycle counting and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center.** Your Responsibilities**

The warehouse associate is responsible for inbound and outbound activities as well as inventory management within the warehouse. This comprises moving materials within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment.

Perform all necessary warehouse activities in terms of inbound, outbound and inventory processes (see details below)

Work with Radio Frequency equipment to perform all warehousing activities

Collaborate fully with co-workers and other associates and maintain a peaceful and productive work environment

Communicate strongly with leads, supervisors, Operations Manager and DCM

Participate in improvement programs and help implement a culture of continuous improvement, driven by shop floor associates

Maintain a very clean, neat and orderly work place according to specifications

Adhere to all QSHE and security regulations and standards set and contribute to making the workplace a safe, secure and friendly work environment

Manage and maintain a 100% accurate inventory through adhering to set procedures

Use MH Equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse

Use MH Equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to clearly specific standard practice

Use MH Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution

Inbound activities may include: receiving, checking, sorting, inbound preparation and storing of product, using material handling equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers, verify and receive materials into inventory, marking and inventorying packages for storage or transit, ay include palletizing and shrink-wrapping, may include stacking of pallets and repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds

Outbound activities may include: Order preparation, picking, packing, product preparation for point of sale, processing, staging, loading.

Inventory activities may include: inventory management tasks, cycle counting and full inventory counting, checking orders against written list or RF reports, report shortages and follow up to locate items or incomplete orders** Your Skills and Experiences**

Skills and/or Experience:

Ideal candidates will have had 2+ years prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment

Experience in a high value, high security environment is a plus

Experience in a lean, continuous improvement environment is a plus

Existing forklift training / experience / certification is a plus

Speak and write good / fluent English

Must be very reliable and dependable

Must be detail oriented, thorough and accurate.

Must be organized, detail oriented, thorough and accurate and have the ability to efficiently solve problems

Must show strong commitment to working procedures

Must have strong customer service orientation

Must be able to work under pressure with fixed cut off times

Ability to interact within a team environment

Ability to efficiently solve problems

Ability to be trained within a designated period to operate power operated MH equipment

Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks

Ability to perform tasks through the Warehouse Management System

Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to provide training to less experienced Material Handlers.

Ability to drive power-operated equipment or ability to be trained within 30 days to drive designated MH equipment.

Depending on position, must be flexible in terms of work hours (night, weekend, holidays)

Proven basic math skills at the high school level
