**Job Overview**

The Warehouse Associate performs an array of duties in our warehouse / distribution operations.

You will be responsible for duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from inventory, loading and unloading and various warehouse activities.

The goal is to ensure warehouse procedures are carried out accurately to maximize efficiency and profits.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

* Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately

* Reviews packing lists, pulls orders, verifies outbound orders for quality, and completeness;

* Audits orders to ensure accurate order fulfillment

* Pulls product (bulk pallets using forklift or individual boxes manually); transports from warehouse to dock

* Embark merchandise in customer vehicles or delivery trucks using appropriate tools

* Examine incoming and outgoing shipments inspecting for defects and damages; notifies management of any damages immediately

* Organize stocks and maintain inventory

* Completion of packaging/distribution documentation; documents exact shipment arrival and departure times

* Records order information on specified documentation; enter data in inventory and logistics software programs

* Ensures safe use of equipment; reports unsafe conditions and acts to management

* Complies with all Company policies, safety guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)

* Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse and equipment

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks

* Punctual and regular attendance required

* Performs all other duties as necessary or assigned

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

* Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of warehouse data system

* Customer focused, team player with great interpersonal and communication skills

* Great physical stamina and manual dexterity to lift or move heavy products up to 80lbs

* Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

* Good organizational and time-management skills

* Adherence to safety regulations (e.g. constant use of PPE gear)

* Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

**Minimum** **Qualifications**

* Must be a least 18 years of age

* 2+ years Warehousing and Distribution experience recommended

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Safety and OSHA training required

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. The noise level is equally moderate to loud. The associate is seldom exposed toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to frequently bend, crouch, kneel, stoop, squat, push, pull and walk. The associate may be required to sometimes balance, climb, crawl, preform repetitive motions or sit. The associate must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

**Language Skills**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, packing slips, orders, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
