Overview

As the Social Media Industry Connection Manager, youll build and keep relationships with social media industry experts to boost our brand, engagement, and growth. You need to be strategic, knowledgeable about social media trends, and good at communication. Youll create a strong presence, partner for panel events, and advise on conference topics. Youll connect different AI-related initiatives and talk tracks to improve our industry strategy.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, industry relations, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining industry connections, preferably in the AI product space.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Expertise with leading social platforms such as LinkedIn.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Create and implement strategies to forge and sustain relationships with key industry influencers, thought leaders, and social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Organize industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company and broaden our network.
  • Find and secure partnership opportunities with relevant industry stakeholders to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Support the Strategy and Innovation Teams social media and channel strategy to oversee execution across social media channels.
  • Find and secure partnership opportunities with relevant industry stakeholders to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Develop and manage the content calendar and messaging for the main Strategy and Innovation channels, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Team is properly represented across communication channels.
  • Evaluate and regularly report on content and campaign performance to inform internal and external stakeholders, as well as drive improvement.
  • Train effective strategies and current methods to maintain a dynamic and engaged profile on LinkedIn and events.
