We are seeking a Procurement Leader who will be responsible for steering the procurement operations of APi Garage Door, ensuring that local activities remain synchronized with segment and enterprise-wide strategies while being finely tuned to local market dynamics of business needs. A successful Procurement Leader plays a crucial role in our organization by effectively managing the procurement process, ensuring cost efficiency, and building strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Branch and Field leader priorities are captured and delivered while satisfaction and operational efficiency is maintained and exceeded.
  • Solicit feedback from Branch and Field leaders to gauge the effectiveness and responsiveness of the procurement function.
  • As the leader of APi Garage Door s local buying network, direct and collaborate with the team to ensure efficient procurement operations, adherence to company guidelines, and alignment with segment and enterprise objectives.
  • Cultivate and govern relationships with local suppliers, ensuring value, timely fulfillment, and cost-efficiency.
  • Pinpoint and manage procurement-related risks pertinent to the local context, such as supply chain disruptions or shifts in regulations.
  • Continuously scout for opportunities to drive value, be it through, demand reduction, supplier innovations, operational enhancements, in addition to cost reductions.
  • Track the cost savings realized at the local level owing to procurement strategies.
  • Evaluate supplier conformance to contract clauses, delivery schedules, and product/service quality benchmarks.
  • Engage periodically to stay in sync with overarching procurement strategies, policies, and best practices at the enterprise level. Advocate for resources or tools needed at the local level and ensure smooth implementation of enterprise-wide projects where applicable.
  • Maintain regular communications with APi Group, our parent company, regarding assimilating segment-wide procurement strategies and convey feedback from the local network. Ensure that local intricacies and opportunities are integrated into segment-level strategies.
  • Adapt and enact segment and enterprise-level procurement strategies to the local APi Garage Door landscape.
  • Align with broader procurement objectives while tailoring strategies that consider local market conditions, supplier ecosystems, and distinct needs.
  • Regularly audit compliance with both global and local procurement standards.

Other:

  • Job Type Full Time
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience and proven subject matter expertise.
  • The pay range is $80,000-$100,000 based on experience.
