What You'll be Doing:

  • Ensuring the availability of district buses and vehicles in safe operating condition including inspecting, maintaining, and determining needed repairs and/or replacements
  • Performing required repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Providing written documentation of repairs to meet district, state and federal requirements

What We Offer

  • $27.46 per hour

What You'll Need:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Job related experience within a specialized field is required.
  • Licenses/Certificates/Registration: ASE Certification, CDL Class B with P, S Endorsement or willing to obtain.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 20% walking, and 70% standing. The job is performed under temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
