Salary $31.33/hour - Benefits effective first day of employment!
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment (cranes, bulldozers, graders, and conveyors) used in mining or related fields
Specific Job Requirements
- Be able to repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
- Test mechanic products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufactures' specifications.
- Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
- Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
- Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace sub-assembles, such as transmissions and crawler heads, using hand tools, jacks and cranes.
- Repair, require, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Experience using micrometers and gauges to test equipment.
- Weld or solder broken parts and structural members using gas or electric welders and soldering tools.
- Able to Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work on equipment or vehicles.
- Experience with adjusting industrial machinery using control and regulating devices.
