**Description**

**Responsibilities and Duties:**

* Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.

* Assists in conducting evaluations of available inventory in the marketplace.

* Reports on PO activity as required by management, including expected margins associated with opportunity purchases.

* Continually communicates with Operations and Customer Service regarding market availability of material.

* Continually solicits feedback from Operations and Customer Service on key part groups that are required for customer programs.

* Communicates with all affected organizations within the Material Group regarding the market availability of key components.

* Procures fully traceable parts for customer units.

* Interfaces with Customer Service Manager to coordinate purchases for customer programs.

* Performs market analysis and updates vendor quotes as required.

* Coordinates with Corporate Purchasing to adhere to company guidelines.

* Coordinates with Corporate Quality to ensure purchases meet company requirements.

* Resolves accounting discrepancies as required.

* Provides backup for Repair administrators and expediters.

**Education, Knowledge and Skills:**

* H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

* Attention to detail is imperative.

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

* Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects and set priorities

* Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.

* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

* Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Physical Requirements:

* Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.

* Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.

* May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
