**Forklift - E/S Distribution** Ubicacin **Mt Olive Processing Plant** Departamento **Operations & Production** Shift **Evening** **Position Summary** :
The Storage Associate position is responsible for transferring finished product to the freezer.
**Essential Duties, Functions and responsibilities:**
Using Powered Industrial Truck, pull product out of blast/staging areas and place in freezer racks.
Use hand-held scanner to scan product into inventory system.
Using wrapping machine, wrap product on pallets to specifications.
Ability to work safely in sub-zero temperatures (to -40 F) for periods of up to 2 hours.
Must be able to become Powered Industrial Truck certified.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies.
Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and possess good leadership skills.
Must be able to use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job.
**Physical Requirements** :
Standing 8 10 hours per day.
Operating powered industrial equipment.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
**Working Conditions/Department Description:**
May work in damp and cold environment
Work with loud and noisy machinery
Work in dusty environment
Work with chemical or Fumes
Job assignments are subject to the supervisors discretion, and job duties may vary day-to-day depending on production needs.
Base Pay: $17.25
Shift Hours: 5:00p.m.- 4:00a.m.
