Construction Superintendent


Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent with extensive DSA (Division of the State Architect) or LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience working for a general contractor on projects valued at $60M and above.

*Description*
* Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
* Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
* Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work adheres to plans and specifications.
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
* Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
*Profile*
* Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor.
* Proven track record of managing projects valued at $60,000,000 and above.
* Extensive experience with DSA or LAUSD projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* OSHA certification.
* LEED accreditation preferred.
