Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for an English-speaking Montessori 3-6 Teacher. As a Montessori Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons, providing education and guidance to students, and facilitating their growth and development. This role involves working closely with children, parents, and fellow educators to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Violeta is a teacher-led school which offers a unique opportunity for educators to engage in school administration tasks. The position is based in Cambridge, MA.

Qualifications

• AMI 3-6 Montessori Diploma or the willingness to pursue this qualification and a deeper understanding of Montessori principles
• Passion for Montessori education
• English fluency is a requirement, bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Strong skills in lesson planning, education, and communication
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience in teaching is a plus
• A Bachelor's degree in Education is preferred; however, candidates with an Associate degree in education or Bachelor's degree in other fields may be considered based on their skills, training, and experience
• Background in school administration, finance, non-profits, entrepreneurship, or marketing is a plus
