What You Will Be Doing:
- Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Mig welding is also a plus.
- Diagnosing problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Some weekend work required.
Skills You Bring:
- Prior industrial maintenance experience and/or prior industrial maintenance school.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is preferred (not required).
- Experience with 480-volt 3 phase power.
- Control circuit troubleshooting experience.
- Basic PLC trouble shooting experience.
- Strong mechanical skills.
