POSITION SUMMARY The production associate is responsible for the production of a variety of rotating electrical products (Alternators and Starters), including disassembly, assembly, testing and packaging.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Package product in corresponding boxes using various packaging materials
Insert all required instructions, test results, advertisements, and any other required documentation
Attach corresponding labels on finished goods
Palletize goods as required on Ti-Hi
Maintain cadence of disassembly in order to keep pace of line and attain production targets and metrics
Perform daily production tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and ready for use
Maintain accurate records of work performed on time and within budge
Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development
Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture
Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment
Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required) Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience operating Material Handling Equipment - Forklift, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, etc
Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities
Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction
Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment
Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Possesses effective verbal communication skills
