Job Summary:
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are needed to offer direct support and oversight to individuals in our CILA Homes program in multiple locations. DSPs will play a crucial role in assisting individuals within their residences, during transportation, and throughout community activities, fostering skill development and creating new experiences while prioritizing health and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities
* Successful completion of HealthCare Worker Background Check
* Possession of a valid IL Drivers License
* Capable of safely lifting and transferring individuals up to 75 lbs
* Positive and personable demeanor
* Submission of a Motor Vehicle Report from the Secretary of State and passing pre-employment drug screening
* At least 21 years of age
* Flexibility and adaptability to individual needs
* Ability to work varying schedules
Additional Qualifications:
* Certification in CPR and First Aid
* Knowledge of person-centered planning
* Experience with behavior management techniques
* Training in medication administration
* Understanding of trauma-informed care
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support and supervision to individuals residing in CILA Homes program locations
* Assist individuals in skill building, community integration, and experiential learning
* Monitor and promptly address health and safety concerns
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure individual needs are met effectively
Schedules:
Varied schedules are available to accommodate individual and program needs
Salary:
Starting wage of $18.75 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and increased earning potential
