Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
* Provide genuine customer service to guests and clients by explaining JW Marriot Spa facilities
* Strip dirty linen, which may require lifting Spa beds weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
* Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests
* Visually inspect Spa rooms for cleanliness and appearance
* Responsible for performing opening and closing duties
* Report suspicious persons, activities and hazardous conditions to the Security Department
* Maintain locker rooms, clean and stocked with all amenities, remove soiled linen and trash
* Maintain the Fitness Room cleanliness and ensure it is always stocked with all amenities, remove soiled linen and trash
* Provide a clean and organized atmosphere in the Spa and adjacent facilities
* Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
* Ability to perform basic math skills
* Ability to read, write, and understand English
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
* Computer skills and ability to learn spa booking program
* Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guest, management, and staff
* Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
* Ability to learn and abide by luxury standards put in place to provide the highest level of service to our guests
Education:
* High School education or equivalent
Typical Physical / Mental Demands:
* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
