PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Expedite and resolve production related issues with upstream suppliers and downstream customers of assigned Back shop area which include but are not limited to:
- Parts Planning Tool (PPT) shortages
- Requests for Manufacturing Engineering Assistance (RMEA's), Quick Engineering Change Sheets (QECS's), Engineering Work Orders (EWO's), and other production data management references
- Assist in coordinating internal Back shop performance through:
- Load/capacity balancing
- Cost reduction plans to the IMS
- Create/coordinate recovery plans for IMS deviations
- Process improvement
- Monitor and track assigned work center's performance to:
- IMS
- Cost Reduction Plan
- Internal schedules
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Associate Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in aircraft (or related) production/manufacturing field
- Working knowledge of schedules and flow charts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word)
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skills, written and oral
- Must be able to function throughout the total facility, including up and down stairs and in and out of aircraft with or without reasonable accommodation.
