Company Overview:
Our client specializes in manufacturing CNC controls and CNC machine tools for R&D, tooling, and low-volume machining applications. They integrate their CNC controls with machine tools and sell the finished products under the respected brand names.
With direct sales to users across much of the United States and distributor sales in other parts of North America and Europe, we are expanding and seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our team.
Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually
Status: Direct Hire:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Location: 100% onsite work required in Rancho Dominguez, CA
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who will play a vital role in our growing company. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in general accounting, be flexible, and willing to cross-train in various accounting functions while providing backup support to other accounting personnel.
Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
- Minimum 5 years of staff accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Business Central
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Duties:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Assist in invoicing & RMA credit process management
- Oversee banking and cash management activities
- Monitor in-house equipment leasing program
- Assist with internal, state, sales/use tax audits
- Report on 401k plan activities
- Coordinate with field personnel on employee benefits
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare department P&L reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Salesforce and ERP software (preferably Syteline)
- Direct experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Business Central
