The corporate safety manager works to prevent workplace accidents and promotes health and safety awareness and education to fellow employees across four bakeries and support locations.

My client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality Retail & Foodservice food products.
*Description*
* Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures.
* Evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines.
* Develop and conduct safety training across four bakeries.
* Partner with leadership at the bakeries to develop a culture and supporting practices of zero accidents.
* Lead and train accident investigations to determine root cause and take prevention measures for further incidents.
* Manage workers compensation claims for workplace accidents.
* Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures.
* Monitors compliance with safety procedures and ensures compliance with federal regulations.
* Analyzes safety data and trends and develops plans based on the analysis.
*Profile*
* BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years working in Safety, Health & Environment.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment
* Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
* Experience/Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations
* Previous experience working directly with environmental agencies preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and policies
