Founded in 2017, my client operates under the belief that anyone calling for help deserves a warm voice and not a cold voicemail. They're a 24/7/365 inbound call answering service that partners with addiction treatment/behavioral health providers nationwide to ensure that no call from someone seeking help goes missed. This translates otherwise missed calls into 600+ confirmed admissions per month.


My client is looking for a skilled and motivated Business Development Representative to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads and qualifying prospects in the addiction treatment space. This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable working from home. If you are a self-starter with a passion for sales and business development, this is the role for you!


The ideal candidate will be based in San Diego.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to generate leads and qualify prospects
  • Deliver persuasive and compelling messages to potential customers
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the addiction treatment industry
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Collaborate with account executives and/or CEO to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Use CRM to track progress and maintain accurate records
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and lead generation targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in a customer-facing role (i.e., server/waitress, bartender, retailer, telesales) or interest in getting into sales or business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM and Google Office Suite is nice to have
  • Experience in the addiction treatment industry is a plus

Compensation:

  • $55K - $65K base, $75K - $85K on target earnings (depending on experience)
