We are looking for experienced Heavy Machinery Operators for our manufacturing facility in Henderson, NV!
Heavy Machinery Operators will be responsible for feeding heated billets into an extrusion press to create metal strips.
Schedule: 4/12's. Weekends required.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 85lbs regularly
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, or bend as needed
- Must be able to push carts, with or without assistance
- Must be able to properly communicate with co-workers and Supervisors
- Must be organized, able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to work safe and always stay focused
- Extrude orders; load billet oven; ensure everything is running correctly
- Good and reliable attendance, Employee must be able to be at work, on time, and ready to work at start of shift each day
- Must be able to tolerate a hot environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is of moderate temperature and moderate loud noise level; hearing protection is required. Gloves must be worn and changed frequently and continuously throughout the day. Work may be performed near moving mechanical parts dependent upon task.
