As the Associate Director of Finance, reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the financial reporting processes for this global manufacturing organization. This is a high-profile position that requires exceptional expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and strategic analysis. You will be responsible for providing accurate and insightful financial data to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Reporting: Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and actionable financial plans.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Storytelling: Utilize expert data analysis skills to extract meaningful insights from financial data and communicate key findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Systems Expertise: Leverage advanced systems and tools to streamline financial reporting processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 progressive years in financial management roles in manufacturing industry
  • Proven track record of success in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and software applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.


Target Base Salary: $150,000 - $160,000
