Additionally, the Litigation Legal Assistant plays a crucial role in managing legal documents, maintaining files, and facilitating communication between clients, attorneys, and external parties.
Key responsibilities of the Litigation Legal Assistant include:
- Scheduling court appearances, depositions, and client meetings
- Coordinating lawyers' travel arrangements and business itineraries
- Processing travel reimbursement and maintaining calendars
- Managing legal documents, including editing, proofreading, and filing
- Updating case information and organizing legal files
- Handling telephone calls and communicating with clients and opposing counsel
- Collaborating with Administrative Support Coordinators, Paralegals, and other team members
- Assisting with the preparation of pleadings and forms
