    Reporting to the Copresident, the Director of Sales - Dietary Supplement will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the goals of the position.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans tailored to contract manufacturing services for dietary supplements. This includes conducting strategic market analysis, evaluating competitors, and formulating pricing strategies.
    • Oversee and mentor a high-performing team of account managers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure the achievement of sales targets and individual career development.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brands, and strategic partners to drive sales, enhance client loyalty, and expand our footprint in the market.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, emerging markets, and innovative distribution channels to maximize the utilization of our contract manufacturing services in the dietary supplement industry.
    • Generate and deliver regular sales reports encompassing sales forecasts, performance metrics, and insightful market trends analysis to the executive team.
    • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitors' offerings within the dietary supplement sector.
    • Efficiently manage and allocate the sales budget, optimizing resource allocation to ensure a robust return on investment.
    • Spearhead ongoing training and development initiatives to elevate the product knowledge and sales acumen of the team.
    • Collaborate closely with quality assurance teams to uphold industry standards and regulatory compliance in all dietary supplement products manufactured.
    • Foster strong collaboration with product development, account managers and operations teams to align sales initiatives with overarching company objectives.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
    • A proven track record of success in dietary supplement sales, with a minimum of 10+ years in a senior sales leadership role.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to derive insights from data and market trends.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and advanced sales management tools.
    • Thorough knowledge of dietary supplement regulations and industry standards.
    • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • EDUCATION

    • Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
