Title: Clerk III, Payroll Public Safety Under general supervision, serves as the first point of contact for the Public Safety Department to assist with district employees' payroll concerns. Essential Functions: The following duties are representative of this position. Processes and updates employee direct deposit information for the district Provides initial assistance to callers and visitors; researches and responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues Investigates discrepancies in payroll data entry by the school and department personnel Tracks, maintains and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail including live checks Scans and emails all check registrations for accounting department processing Assists district employees with WebPay access and obtaining W-2 documentation Provides Employee Earning History reports, as requested Performs other duties as assigned.
