Immediate opening for an Accounting Lead in Corona, CA who possesses:
- 5+ years' General Accounting experience with multi-location
- Experience leading or mentoring employees
- Accounting Degree preferred
FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Generating and sending account statements/invoices to customers
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensuring clients have received invoices
- Sending reminder emails to customers for almost due invoices
- Receiving and applying payments to customer accounts, processing credit card payments
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Prepare and process journal entries for accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and management
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and account reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in using accounting software, and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Must have experience in departmental accounting and the ability to supervise others.
- Accounts Payable Organizing bills and coding.
- Accounts Receivable Billing managed care companies and Regional Centers for different programs. We do not expect someone who has experience with this. We are willing to train.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Must be willing to learn about client benefits, and keep track of client trust funds.
- Must be willing to do menial jobs such as pulling and copying information for audits, etc. Also possibly some computer input when needed.
- Degree in Accounting preferred
