The project manager is a member of the MAPC program management team, with a responsibility for ensuring that the programs, and sub-programs that they are tasked with are completed on-time, on or under budget and satisfy all the customer and program requirements. The project manager is generally responsible for the successful management of all supplementary build-to-print projects arising from Small USV production.


  • the resources necessary and managing the costs, and timelines to complete the projects assigned
  • that all relevant project requirements are met
  • with members of the purchasing, manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to successfully execute build-to-print projects
  • with the finance team to ensure that programs assigned are invoiced & costs are accurately captured
  • quotes and proposals
  • tasks as assigned


Candidates should expect to occasionally coordinate and participate in travel events. Typical travel is < 10% and within the United States.

Qualifications

Required

  • working with engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions and other technical documents
  • organizational skills and the ability to develop and use project tracking tools like Excel or Microsoft project
  • communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to communicate both at the customer and the technician level.


Preferred

  • Previous experience coordinating build-to-print projects
