**Industrial Painter**
| | Location: OK - Tulsa OK Nesco Resource has a direct-hire opening with a global leader in the oil and gas industry in west Tulsa. Your experience working in a warehouse and utilizing a paint sprayer to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products will make you an ideal candidate for this role. If you're looking for your next job, then this is the role for you. This role will pay 15-16/hr.
Hours are 5:00am - 3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
-Operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products.
-Selecting and mixing paint to meet job specifications.
-Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.
-Paint small items and apply touch-ups.
-Participates in daily preventive maintenance initiatives, and performs troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment daily.
-Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.
-Performs other duties and activities as assigned.
Requirements:
-6-12 months relevant experience.
-High school diploma or G.E.D.
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
