Ifyouarelookingforanopportunitytogrowyourcareerina supervisorypositiondedicatedtocommunityhealth,environmentalhealth,andsafety,joinourteam!About the position:The Environmental Health (EH) Supervisor organizes and supervises environmental health programs and services; supervises and coordinates the work of Environmental Health Specialists and other assigned staff to comply with public health laws and administrative rules; and performs a variety of technical tasks related to inspection and compliance with environmental health regulations. In addition to leading a team of talented and committed staff, this position participates in the Senior Environmental Health Team and assists in developing and implementing division-level Public Health strategies and activities.Due to the responsibilities of this role, this position is not eligible for remote work.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Ex

p erience:

-A Master s Degree in public or community health from an accredited college or university;

AND

a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an environmental health program that includes advanced responsibilities and/orproject supervision and management and one (1) year of which must be in environmental sanitation under the supervision of a registered environmental health specialist or sanitarian; OR-A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 45 quarter hours or the equivalent semester hours in science courses related to environmental sanitation approved by Oregon Environmental Health Registration Board;

AND

a minimum of four (4) years of experience in an environmental health program that includes advanced responsibilities and/or project supervision and management and two (2) years of which must be in environmental sanitation under the supervision of a registered environmental health specialist or sanitarian.
